Summer Sun Is Here

Hey blogger. Not been on here since last month when everything was Uni Hectic!

Now the summer is here I want to grasp every oputunity I can to gain experience and take part in anything that will be good on my CV. If you need someone to act in something, please get in touch with me because I can act. If you need a saxophonist who is free most of the time and lives in Manchester, get in touch!

Tomorrow night, if I'm not too tired, I'm going to write some new code for a better layout here at my blog. I just think with the sun being out, and the fact that I have loads of time on my hands, and its good practice, the blog could do with a bit of a change in layout. We shall see how it goes.

I am planning on moving away from England. Hopefully next year I will be on a plane to a different country for a year to work in the industry. Not to worry though, I will be coming back (for a year).

Here is some stuff I can help you with over the summer.

If you need a website making Cheap and fast
If you need an Actor
If you need a Saxophonist/Clarinettist (I could even teach basics)
If you need someone to help you learn basic Computer Skills

I live in Manchester. I am easily accessible. Facebook. Twitter. Myspace.

May I?

University is Hectic! There is alot of work involved, and if you're thinking of going to University, think about it really hard.

I am lucky, I choose the right subject and ended up in a class with some of the coolest people! But there are some people who don't turn up, don't attend the lectures and decide to use the first year as a doss. Think really carefully about how much money you are investing into this thing called University and education because it is very expensive but at the same time very useful, so if you do decide, make the most of your time there!

It does go fast, I mean, the year is almost over and I feel like I've only been there about a week! You have your ups and downs, but you still enjoy every second.

Anyway back on earth. Welcome to Aaron's Blog in the month of May. I know I'm not posting much, I actually feel like I'm doing it on purpose, everytime I think about posting something it slips my mind or something more important comes up. You realise when your sat there on your own thinking about your future that there is something you can be doing every second of your life that will make everything better tomorrow.

Today there is something I could be doing, and it is writing this blog, because I know that it helps with my thinking, and thinking is all I can do at the moment. I'm planning on moving away from England for a year in September (2011), it will be a placement year somewhere far off so that I don't have to live the same routine each week. I like change and it will be a good opurtunity for me to live a year somewhere new and different. I just watched Avatar again, I want to live like that, moving to somewhere new and completely different and learn how they cope with life. I'm looking forward to it.

Anyway enough of my boring ramblings, as I know that about 0.2 people will read this I mayaswel shut up now.

Nokia Sports Tracker

The weather has been so nice here in Manchester over the last couple of days so I've decided to hop back onto my bike. Since I got my new phone (Nokia E72) I have been looking around for some interesting applications. I came across one named Nokia Sports Tracker Beta, which tracks your work outs.

So, having this amazing application on my phone, I just couldn't wait to use it. I've been cycling around Newton Heath today, I went to university on my bike the other week, and this week, if the weather stays nice, I might take a trip down the canal. You will be able to see everything I get up to of course as my Tracker Profile is set to public so everyone can check it out.

If you are a keen user of Sports Tracker let me know and I will join you on the site.
If you have a nokia and a bike, Go and download it, its tons of fun :)

Barmouth Attempt 2

As I promised here is a nice blog for the wonderful week in Barmouth Wales. It is my second time to visit this place and my last in these cold and wet days. If I return here I hope the sun is shining and the wind is on the low. Apart from the weather, Barmouth is a great place.

I didn't take any photo's myself but I decided to steal some of my friends who were with me. Thanks to them for their photos.

The train journey was packed up with card playing and some wonderful Shrewsbury changing. Once we made it to Barmouth it was all heads up towards the camp site. The memories flooding back of that loooong walk from the town to the Camp. When we got there it took me a moment to remember how to get in. Finally we made it and went to reception. It was a fairly reasonable price at £8 per night per person. Setting up camp was fun, at first the guy wanted to put us up in a high field, but we convinced him that it would be hard for us to walk from there all the time. So he put us on one of the low fields on our own, just 5 seconds from the shower and toilet blocks, which was helpful!

Setting up was fun, we all had our tents out and ready to set up. Once that was done we enjoyed the fact that we had a few days of outdoor fun!

We got some sausages, snacks, alcohol, the usual... from the village, and relaxed for the night, in the rain ofc, as rain was a big factor in this wonderful trip. After a few hours of rain I realised that my tent (£10 from Asda) didn't like the rain and allowed some to enter inside. (Fun). I wasn't too bothered, as I expected it to be a 'not so very good tent'. That night was cold. I wrapped up really well and actually got an ok nights sleep.

We ate sausages on the barbecue, they were nice! The shower was HOT. And it needed to be to make up for the fridge tent.

Second night was colder. - Cards in one tent then sleeping in my own. Well, sort of sleeping.

Third night was colder still. That was the night when hail hit us and the mountains collected snow. It was difficult to sleep although, the time we had before we went to sleep was amazing! We all stayed in one of the tents and basically had a laugh. And I mean none stop laughing.

Travelling back was hard work. Well for the second half anyway. The first half, to Shrewsbury I slept all the way. Then there was a delay on the train from there to Manchester. We got on the delayed train that decided to terminate in Crewe, so we had to get another train from there home. Fun journey.

All in all I had an amazing time in Barmouth with some great friends. The weather may have been cold and wet but it didn't stop us from having a top time. Thanks to everyone that was there, and I hope you enjoyed it too!

Lazyless

Lazy. I really am. I've missed blogger.

I always see this as somewhere I can post all my thoughts and feelings and take them all out of my mind and into this wonderful place called the internet. Now I've been thinking about it (alot) and I haven't felt the need to develop my thoughts. I don't know why that is because my mind is Buzzing with everything that has happened in the last month. It isn't really that much but because I've kept it all bottled up then I think I might be going mad. So today I've decided to Blog. Lazyless.

Today I finished University for a good Three weeks. The first week will be a wonderful Camping trip to the wonderful place of Barmouth in Wales. We went to the same place last year and I did an amazingly long blog about it here.

The second week will be full of Toys and Work. Mainly because I work in a Toy shop but because my manager has given me a week full of extra hours. As it is the Easter Holidays my work expect lots of customers. I don't really mind about the extra work as it means Extra monies for me.

The third and final week will be Full of revision (or at least I hope) as my exams are coming up in May and I want to be completely prepared for them.

I'm still reading Harry Potter... I'm on for the 4th one now (Order of the Phoenix). I haven't really been reading them all the time, just now and again on the bus and when I get bored at home.

I finally went on the dreaded Bike ride all the way to Uni. I was fine on the way there, but the way back I almost died. It was difficult but I really enjoyed it.

Other than the above life has been stressful and fun all in one. Sometimes you want to give up but you just drag yourself along and get on with it. It pays off in the end and you realise that it has all been amazing and completely worth it.

All in all, everything is good.

If I get signal in Barmouth then you should expect some nice blogs during next week. If not then you should expect a big long one next Friday.

Quote Three

Its the third month of the year. Yep. The third.

I didn't blog much in February. Maybe because there wasnt much to blog about. It was a cold and dull month that only got better near the end, and that is most likely because it was coming to and end. The month is now March. Yep. March. The sun has been out the last couple of days and it puts everyone in a good mood.

I said last month that I'm opening the case of Norra once again, and yes, Norra has been reopened and I'm working on him over the time I have free. There are some new characters about and he has introduced me to some cool places in the land of Nosnibla.

I'm looking forward to this month, I'm thinking that I need to start saving my money and doing more productive things, same promise I made myself at the start of year when it mattered most. But I'm going to go ahead and be positive.

I'm listening to Harry Potter soundtracks as I write this, its really fun, some of the songs you wouldnt even imagine in the film, but its all good.

Have you ever tried coding in C# (C-Sharp) its confusing, and I'm trying my best to work it out, and I have been doing all the work before hand from the book too, It just doesnt seem to be working out for me.

Well, I've got loads to do, I will try my best to blog more often, Norra is shouting me so I best go.

I opened my eyes last night

I keep having strange dreams! Its strange. So I've decided to write them in here so that I don't forget them. If you happen to be reading this and you are a dreams expert please tell me what they mean!

Dream One
I was a secret agent working for the government. I was with a woman who reminds me of the woman from X-Files. So we were walking down a corridor, the woman had a gun in her hands, she signalled to a door frame. We walked in and entered. Now the strange thing about the dream happens now... Inside the room, and it was a extremely large room, was the Manchester Big Wheel. Now, it became clear that we were looking for dead bodies and we needed to look inside each of the wheel's booths to see if there was a dead body inside. The wheel was not moving so this was obviously impossible. Then from nowhere came a Giant version of my tallest brother, he came over and grabbed each booth and turned them upside down for us to see inside. After looking in all of them we only found an Extinct Species of a Wasp. Yeah, a Wasp! This was the main focal point of the dream because we spent a lot of time concentrating on the wasp and then the dream ended.

Dream Two coming soon.

Back to Uni

Daily Graphic

After my long break of no uni, one exam and one Coursework demonstration, I'm finally returning back to uni for semester 2.

Semester one was difficult, but altogether, I had a lot of fun. I'm really hoping that this semester will be just as challenging and just as fun. I've never been on a break from education where at the end of it I'm actually glad I'm going back! Its mad.

Counting Sheep

My body clock is completely wrong. I can't fix it. I like sleep.

I need to sort it out but its so hard, I have so much I could be doing, and sleeping just seems to take over what I want to do. Obviously we all need to sleep, just not as much.

This week I have been doing some research for my Group website at university, We are doing the site on Manchester and my subject area is Culture. I've also been designing the site and adding some content.

Tomorrow I will do some research on the other Modules that I will be starting in Semester 2 on Monday. I'm actually looking forward to it because I've been so bored with not doing anything for ages. I also found out today that I have Fridays free to do whatever I want. This semester should be good.

Time to sleep and sort out this clock.

2010

2010

Twothosandandten

After my large load of content for the year 2009 I think that it is only fair that the new year gets a mention, for thats the main reason why we are here right?

Some say it is good to set a new years resolution, I kinda think its a good idea to set some goals, but only if they are achieveable. I have decided that I am going to use my time more practically and begin saving my money for the future.

I do hope that 2010 will bring you everything that you want and I do hope you Subscribe to this blog (see left hand column) and come and visit us often this year for some exciting blogs!

Happy New Year from Aaron.

Year End

The time of Christmas is hectic, especially when you have tons of work to do for uni just before the holiday period begins. This was me before I broke up from university on the 18th of December, since then I have been buying presents for everyone, spending time with family and most of all working. The break between Christmas and new year is usually a relaxing one for myself but I agreed to doing some extra hours at work. Of course I don't mind, it means more money for me, whereas on the other hand, I would just love to sit back and relax for a good week.

Christmas has been wonderful though, my parents bought me a new saxophone case (as my old one was falling apart), an electric shaver (which is just cool) and the Wii sports Resort game with the motion plus sensor. But I guess its not all about opening presents, its the giving that I love as well.

I know that my number of blogs this month have been bad, but it has been busy, and today I felt that it would be bad if I left a full month without a good blog and even worse if I didn't finish the year off with a couple of blogs too. Hopefully I will blog some interesting things tomorrow. Today all I can give you is words, but tomorrow there shall be a +Vert of the Year, Song of the Year, Book of the Year, Game of the Year, Daily Graphic of the Year, TV Programme of the Year, Gadget of the Year, Movie of the Year, Doodle Doo of the Year and Website of the Year. Then on the 31st (the last day of the year) I will write a reflection on the year as a whole.

I do hope you visit tomorrow and the next day for a whole range of interesting blogs. If you think you might forget; you can Subscribe to my RSS with the Subscribe button in the left hand column.

University Is Not Easy

But everything else is.

I have loads of work to do, but I can't say that I'm not enjoying it, because I really am. I've met some wonderful people who are great to get along with, the group work stuff has been fun and the large breaks between lectures are just top.

Now the first semester is coming close to an end. I've got like two weeks left. I have to hand in three assignments. Now the work load is very large for 10 days, but I'm feeling that I can get a lot done in that time.

On Friday I bought myself a new phone! To show off to you all I thought I would leave a nice picture to show you how wonderfully amazing it is.

Its great right? Well, I don't think I've put it down yet. Not good. Oh well. I love it.

Well, I best get back to writing about Learning Theories.

Fun

Self Portrait

doodledoo

SDC10012

Yep, I’ve actually been drawing myself. It has noting to do with the work I need to get done for my uni assignments, but it was fun nevertheless. I enjoyed doing it. Self Portrait.

Uni is going well, I have about 5/6 assignments to be finished for the 18th of December so this week I've put on my organisation and working cap on. It is going pretty well actually, and I am enjoying the work. It is all creative and it is all on the computer, both of which I can handle as long as I don’t get myself drifted off on facebook, twitter and god of the internet knows what else.

I’m going to finish here because it is nearing the end of another day and I want to do a little more work before I go to bed.

Good night. Aaron, Laptop style (Windows Live Writer Tools) x

Assignment

When I finish Uni at 6 I think to myself, 'I'm going to go home and eat, then I will do an assignment' I tell myself the same thing over and over again and think it even while I am reading the wonderful Harry Potter on the bus. When I get home I eat and then I think... 'do I really want to do this assignment. I guess I have no choice really, I have to do it, but I am just plain lazy and I end up on Facebook, Twitter and writing blogs.

Today however I have structured myself. I say. I have now eaten my tea, then I will spend about 30 mins on FB, Twitter and Blogger, then I will do my assignment. I WILL do it. Its ok... It will get done. Promise.

Social Networking

My world is online. Whatever your world, PC....
I spend a lot of time on my computer, my laptop, my phone, and a uni PC. Actually, It's rare that there is one day when I don't log into a computer. Facebook and twitter are just two of the most popular social networking sites on the internet and they are clearly taking over. People are beginning to complain about how they spend too much time of Facebook as there is so much you can do. But we are happy to accept the fact that technology is now becoming our social life. My opinion - its a good thing, Let it happen.

All I can say is that now that Facebook is around, the Kids on the street, they never miss a beat.

I'm saving for a new phone, hopefully one with a good browser, a nice interface and a QWERTY keypad. I might be asking for a lot there but it has to be perfect if I'm to be using it every day, and it will also come at a big price. Hopefully I will be blogging off a nice new phone soon. :)

Anyway, time is not on my side and I must sleep.
Good night. Aaron, Laptop Style. x

Bang

Yes, I'm here. Eventually, I have some time. For myself ofc.

Today is Bonfire night. Bonfire night = Rain.

Well, the past few weeks has been hectic. I've been worrying about the assignment that I eventually handed in today. It's amazing to get rid of the pressure and makes me feel loads better. So finally I got time to blog.

Welcome to November. The trees have officially got rid of their leaves. Tree master says 'Its about time we finally got rid of our last leaves but over the next few years, some of the trees might be a little more hesitant to get rid of their leaves so early'.

At university I've also got another 4 assignments, 2 websites, a midi file and a flash animation.
It's all fun. I really love Flash and Midi, Web page design has alot of info but it is simple, group design should be fun, we have to design a website as a group of 5.

So Uni is good, there isn't really anything else any more, uni has sort of taken over. Work is still ok, getting a bit repetitive now, and I am a big fan of change.

So. I am happy now, that just now, I caught up with all of my Emails and posted this wonderful exploding (full of info) blog.

Have a nice bonfire night.

University of Salford - Multimedia and Internet Technology

You know, I started University last month and I'd just like to say how much I extremely like it. It is the most easiest subject in the university by my guestimations.

The people on my course are extremely nice and I'm getting on well with everyone I meet.
The topics are all interesting and yet they are simple (except one). I extremely love studying there and I think that the next few years are going to be top!

For some reason, I felt like I had to make this point clear. On my blog left hand side column I'm going to put the Salford Logo to display where I am studying

I didn't leave home - I stayed with my family in Manchester. Its really easy to travel to and if you have a book or some thing to do then its not too boring. - Manchester is such a good place, thats my main reason for staying, the other is because I love my money too much!

The night life in Manchester is always fun too - I'm not going to go into that because it would take me all night but there is always somewhere to go when you want a good time.

To conclude I would just like to say, if you have googled and found this because you wanted to find out more about the course and this isnt enough information please don't hesitate to contact me. I'm more than happy to answer your questions.

Thats all from me - boasting about my wonderful Student life at Salford University.

Waiting for architecture

Computer architecture is most likely the worst subject i do at university. But its not even that bad. I'm really enjoying my lessons and general life at university. You could say that i've chosen the easiest course at uni. I only have one exam to worry about and the assignments are really entertaining. Atm i'm waiting for architecture to start. An easy day for me. :-)

You say you want a revolution

Aaron's Blog has been going for almost 2 years. On the 22nd of September I will celebrate the 2nd complete year of Aaron's Blog. I've been busy the last few weeks, I didn’t really think I would actually be this busy so I am disappointed with the number of blogs I've actually done. So to completely celebrate as I do every year, I am going to be changing my ideas and layout here at Aaron’s Blog.

The new revolutionary blog will have only 5 sections with many sub sections. These sections I am working on but at the moment they currently stand as Personal / Multimedia / Internet / Technology / Graphics these sections are a working progress and the whole of the Aaron’s Blog layout will change. I have planned to change the name of the blog over and over again but I think its just a scary thought. I don’t know if I could actually do it so I will put the name change at rest for a while. Also I wanted to change location. Yes this is still on my mind and I am currently negotiating this with the money saving side of my brain. If I do not buy lunches each day I can save enough money for web space and a domain. Which is worth it right?

So let the revolution begin.

Things that will stay the same:
The blog will stay run by AVJA, Each blog post will have the symbols of the blog tag/topic. The name is staying for the time being. The color scheme will also stay!

Things that will change:
The layout, the name of the blogs, the sections, the side bar, the bottom bar, the top bar, the logo’s (maybe) and everything will be spelt correctly.

I hope you people continue to read my blog because I love it so and I want it to continue to be as successful if not more as it has been over the last two years. Things can only get better right?

Aaron, Big Screen Style, Blog Change.
